Description: This will give you a high level view of what Agile is. It is driven not by process but by values. Meantime it will have the increased visibility from the day one.
This is not a Agile specific graph.However it will help you understand why we should act early in the life cycle. Reason is cost of a defect is almost nothing at the beginning.
This will tell you the success rate of Agile projects. There is a 20% decrease in the failed projects.
Increasing visibility will allow customers and the requirement analysis team to identify the project bottlenecks promptly and will have ample time to act. Therefore you have time to sort out most of the problems when you reach end of your project. However in waterfall what happens is that customer will see the product in the latter part of the life cycle which will likely increase the potential of having bad news more.
Agile delivers products quickly than anyone else. Obviously it should create more ROI.
